Ce mi-a placut insa este efortul autorului de a se transpune la inceputurile psihanalizei, de a se pune in piele terapeutului lipsit total de mijloacele meseriei sale si chiar de numele sau.
There were some brilliant words of wisdom and some incredibly interesting intersections o This took me a while to get through. It’s just another book about angsty white men being angsty and set out on a journey to resolve the angst that the mundane brings them as they age. I did not like this novel. He did extensive research on his characters and I think I may have found them somewhat less annoying if I knew which parts were real and which were fabricated.

Maybe amazing people should just be left alone to write about themselves.
So, this go-round, I’m finding the writing sort of entertaining — although honestly, I’m not sure I’ll make it through to the end this time either. On the other hand plakkao are some interesting things here. Thanks for telling us about the problem.
I think i am not the only one who got interested because of the chance to learn about psychology and philosophy, the life of such famous thinkers as Nietzsche in an entertaining way. Scritto bene, per l’amor del cielo, una perfetta screenplay per il cinema, ma l’operazione puzza di artefatto lontano un miglio. It would’ve been brilliant if they were expanded upon. Still there is something nice and genuinely touching view spoiler [ not in a creepy way like a predatory employer hide spoiler ] in people wanting to read and indeed write about dead people like Nietzsche, Breuer and Freud rather than mysteriously topless muscular firemen or space-dogs or treasure hunting Nazis and what have you. And our greatest challenge is to live in spite of that burden. For example Plskao wished Sigmund Freud to disappear from the entire story, however one of the best being the best of these potato characters is not much of a compliment, i know character in the book he was with his dream analysis’ because when he was present, every other character called him ‘Sigi.

Also, I was so disappointed by the trance scene: It ends with an unlikely experiment Freud performs on Breuer, which is unbelievably effective unbelievable, as in “not credible”. The idea of bringing Nietzsche and Breuer together and setting a novel is certainly appealing.
One character urges the other to consider if his tears had voices, what would they say? And most importantly, they’ve got to be tricked into embarking on a journey of discove I wanted to like this, felt obligated to like it, and I just could not get past the halfway point.
