This Hug book really blew though. What is unique about this book, is that there are only three words used in the whole story – ‘hug’ being the main one, ‘Mummy’ and ‘Bobo’.

I wouldn’t include this book in my classroom unless I was teaching kindergarten, because the message doesn’t have an educational track to it, but is more of a good book for parents to read to their children because it is family inclusive and has good imagery. The way he puts his little head down when he sees everyone else is accompanied expect for him. It also encouraged the caregivers to give the toddlers a great big hug!
